Last updated: September 2026 1. Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the CareCircle platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. 2. Description of Service CareCircle connects families seeking caregiving services with qualified caregivers across South Africa. We provide a platform for job postings, applications, messaging and bookings. CareCircle is free to use and is supported by advertising. The only fee CareCircle charges is the optional background check fee for caregivers, which is shown before you pay. 3. Not a Healthcare Provider CareCircle is a technology platform that connects families with independent caregivers. We are not a healthcare provider, medical practice, or nursing agency. We do not employ caregivers, do not supervise the care they deliver, and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app should be relied on as a substitute for professional medical advice. In an emergency, contact emergency services directly. 4. Clinical and Personal Care Tasks Some caregivers list clinical or personal care skills, including medication administration, wound care, tube feeding, stoma care, and diabetes management support. These skills are self-declared. Caregivers may only offer tasks they are legally qualified and registered to perform under South African law, and are solely responsible for holding and maintaining any required professional registration. Clients are responsible for satisfying themselves as to a caregiver's suitability before engaging them for any clinical task. 5. User Accounts You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. 6. Caregiver Responsibilities Caregivers must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and availability. Background checks may be required before job placement, and a valid electronic criminal record check is required for childcare jobs. The background check is the only paid service on CareCircle. 7. Client Responsibilities Clients must provide accurate job descriptions, fair compensation, and safe working conditions. Clients pay caregivers directly for services rendered, on terms they agree between themselves; CareCircle does not process, hold or guarantee these payments. 8. Prohibited Conduct Users may not: harass, discriminate, or abuse other users; post false information; engage in fraudulent transactions; or use the platform for illegal purposes. 9. Termination We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior. 10. Limitation of Liability CareCircle is a platform provider and is not liable for the actions of individual users. We do not guarantee the quality of caregiving services. 11.
